Job Description
Software Developer specializing in Android for Localiza&Co, focused on sustainable mobility solutions. Collaboratively evolving app functionalities and architecture with Kotlin expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance features in Android applications using Kotlin;
- Advance app architecture through modularization and reusable components;
- Work collaboratively in a team using agile methodologies;
- Propose and implement technical improvements and continuous modernization;
- Mentor developers and conduct code reviews;
- Participate in architectural decisions and strategic technical definitions;
- Ensure quality through automated tests, static analysis, and quality gates in CI/CD.
Requirements:
- Advanced Kotlin (Coroutines/Flow) and strong command of Jetpack (Compose, Navigation, WorkManager, Room/DataStore);
- Advanced knowledge of Android architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture);
- Strong knowledge of OOP, HTTP/REST, API consumption, and data management (local and remote);
- Experience with testing (JUnit, MockK, Espresso, Compose Testing) and use of quality gates;
- Understanding of mobile security (best practices, Keystore, obfuscation) and privacy;
- Solid knowledge of the Play Store publishing process (signing, tracks, release notes);
- Use and implementation of Firebase and Google APIs;
- Advanced Gradle and dependency management in modularized projects;
- Advanced knowledge of observability (Crashlytics, Analytics, APM).
- **Nice to have**
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM) and/or Compose Multiplatform;
- Knowledge of offline-first strategies and performance optimization (startup time, ANR, crash-free metrics);
- Experience with camera integration and ML (CameraX/ML Kit).
