Job Description
Software Engineer at First American developing backend components using C#, SQL, and .NET Framework. Collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in the title insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend components using C#, SQL, Microsoft Word and .NET Framework 4.8
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for system integrations
- Work closely with databases to design, write, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Support and enhance document development, generation and automation workflows for the FCT platform.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant development experience
- Strong hands-on experience in C# development using .NET Framework 4.8
- Exposure to .NET Core / modern .NET is a definite plus
- Solid experience working with APIs (development, integration, and testing)
- Sound SQL knowledge with proven experience in writing complex queries and working with relational databases
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
