Job Description
ML Engineer building real-time telemetry pipelines and feature platforms for Salesforce’s AI CRM. Designing streaming systems that power personalization and real-time inference.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement upstream event telemetry ingestion pipelines
- Build and maintain stream processing applications using technologies such as Flink and Spark Streaming
- Integrate third-party demographic and firmographic datasets into unified streaming feature definitions
- Resolve critical engineering bottlenecks related to event ingestion into the Zipline feature platform
- Define and deploy live feature contracts and monitoring systems
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align streaming telemetry schemas with real-time inference model requirements
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in data engineering, specializing in high-throughput stream processing and real-time analytics
- Deep expertise in Apache Flink and Apache Spark Streaming
- Experience with Apache Kafka and AWS Kinesis
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
- Proven experience with real-time feature stores, including Zipline and Feast
- Experience managing stateful stream computation
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and streaming data architectures
- Focus on system resilience, low-latency processing, and exact-once/at-least-once delivery guarantees
