Job Description
Staff Backend Engineer at Voyagu focusing on financial systems and revenue calculations. Leading the architectural transformation of the financial core into a structured platform.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the Economic Core of the platform and help shape financial logic implementation
- Lead in designing ledger-style economic events and revenue calculations
- Implement payment and cost normalization processes
- Manage client and supplier balances and financial lifecycle transitions
- Enforce financial invariants and consistency rules
Requirements:
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience
- experience owning financial or transactional domain logic
- experience evolving financial systems in production
- strong relational database design skills
- ability to reason about money flows, balances, and reconciliation
