Job Description
Staff Data Scientist driving analytics across growth, product, AI, and partnerships. Helping Jerry.ai scale its AI-powered platform for managing cars, homes, and other physical assets.
Responsibilities:
- Own the analytical function for an embedded business unit end-to-end
- Support growth marketing, product development, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships
- Define business problems, validate the questions being asked, and identify the decisions analyses should inform
- Define metrics and build reports
- Run analyses and design experiments
- Surface insights that improve key business metrics
- Present recommendations to product, growth, finance, or operations counterparts
- Explain what is happening, why it is happening, and recommend next steps
- Drive decisions and execute initiatives through to completion
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently
- Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact
- Clear, persuasive communication skills capable of influencing leadership-level decisions
- Analytical proficiency with SQL or Python
- Experience with SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub
- Must currently reside in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
