Job Description
Staff Developer at AgencyAnalytics overseeing technical projects, setting coding standards, and driving AI tool adoption across the engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Your time will be divided between leading cross-functional technical projects, building and reviewing architectures.
- You’ll be setting and driving coding standards, technical processes, and tooling across engineering.
- You’ll drive AI tool adoption across Engineering.
- You'll prioritize and work on multiple projects from start to finish, balancing quality, stability and project delivery.
- Through code reviews and mentoring, you'll set a high-quality bar. You’ll also actively look for ways to improve the overall quality of our codebase.
- You'll work across teams to promote an open, collaborative approach to architecture, technical patterns, and complex problem-solving.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of SaaS application development experience
- Previously held a Staff Developer or higher title
- Embraced AI coding tools like Claude
- Hands-on with backend technologies (PHP or similar)
- Architected complex systems balancing performance, scale, and developer experience
- Fluent in performance best practices with monitoring and optimization skills
- Closely collaborated on engineering decisions and product development
- Thrive in ambiguity and operate at different levels from architecture to pair programming
