Job Description
Staff Software Engineer designing scalable systems for WME, a leading entertainment company. Collaborating with product managers for thoughtful solutions and mentoring fellow engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable web applications and APIs
- Drive architectural decisions across frontend and backend systems
- Partner closely with product managers and designers to deliver thoughtful solutions
- Translate operational needs into practical technical systems
- Improve developer productivity through tooling, automation, and AI-assisted development
- Mentor engineers and help raise the technical bar
Requirements:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong full-stack development experience building modern web applications
- Experience with React / Next.js or similar frameworks
- Experience designing scalable APIs and backend systems
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong product instincts and collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working in environments where systems and processes are still evolving
