Job Description
Part-time Staff Writer for Forbes Home generating well-researched content on home services topics. Collaborating with the editorial team to deliver high-quality articles as per the publication's standards.
Responsibilities:
- Write helpful, accurate and engaging best-ofs, product reviews and product comparisons
- Consistently write and publish high-performing content that drives traffic and engagement, and update stories with timely information as needed
- Work collaboratively with fellow writers and editorial leadership to ensure output meets Forbes Home’s quality standards, reporting to a Managing Editor
Requirements:
- A portfolio that displays your writing proficiency and ability to tell compelling stories
- Ability to turn complex home topics into easily digestible snippets
- Creative vision that aligns with Forbes Home’s editorial tone, voice and vision
- Experience with SEO best practices preferred
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Nimble and open to quick changes in strategy
- Ability to work in a startup environment
