Job Description
Systems Engineer responsible for optimizing application packages and their deployment. Join IT team in Philippines focused on enhancing application delivery and virtualization.
Responsibilities:
- Package applications for deployment using tools like AdminStudio, PSAppDeployToolkit, or equivalent
- Customize and tailor application packages to meet organizational standards and user requirements
- Manage and deploy application packages through SCCM, Intune
- Monitor and troubleshoot delivery failures to ensure seamless operations
- Implement and manage application virtualization technologies to optimize resource usage and enhance compatibility
- Maintain and troubleshoot virtualized applications to ensure stability and performance
- Maintain and update application packages with the latest versions and patches
- Ensure application packages comply with security and compatibility standards
- Conduct thorough testing of application packages in various environments to ensure reliability and performance
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for application packages, deployment processes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather application requirements and deployment needs
- Provide technical support to resolve application packaging and delivery issues
Requirements:
- Strong experience in application packaging and deployment using tools like SCCM, Intune, or Numecent
- Proficiency in application virtualization technologies (e.g., Microsoft App-V, VMware ThinApp)
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, or Batch for automation
- Understanding of MSI/MST creation, troubleshooting, and re-packaging
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and registry structure
- Experience with software deployment strategies in enterprise environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
