Job Description
Therapy Specialist responsible for developing and expanding TAVI therapy within hospital accounts across South Africa. Collaborating with cardiology teams and internal partners to drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand TAVI therapy within existing and new hospital accounts across South Africa.
- Lead market assessments and identify growth opportunities.
- Onboard new centers and work closely with internal Abbott teams and distributor partners.
- Act as a trusted clinical and strategic partner to cardiology teams supporting procedures and education.
- Track activity, outcomes, and implants using Salesforce.com and provide regular reporting to management.
Requirements:
- University degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or related healthcare field is essential.
- 3–5+ years in sales or clinical roles within a cardiology hospital environment.
- Proven TAVR/TAVI therapy experience, including clinical case support is essential.
- Demonstrated success in market share growth and market expansion.
- Experience operating within a corporate, matrixed environment.
- Willingness to travel 50%+ on a national basis.
