Job Description

Vice President of Sales leading nonprofit Salesforce consulting growth for Coastal. Owning enterprise sales strategy, bookings, client relationships, and quota-carrying team expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the sales strategy, execution, and success for the Nonprofit team
  • Maintain industry and company best practices for sales execution, pipeline management, and customer engagement
  • Oversee pipeline generation goals, bookings goals, and quality of bookings to support revenue achievement and long-term growth targets
  • Partner with marketing and business development teams on lead generation strategies and execution
  • Integrate innovative sales strategies reflecting AI’s impact on the market and project work
  • Engage executive-level leaders at national and regional nonprofits to grow the customer base and win new-logo business
  • Create business and territory plans to attain annual goals and quotas with the BDR team
  • Create new opportunities through outbound outreach and industry networking
  • Manage the customer relationship lifecycle from prospecting through contract execution and project completion support
  • Lead discovery conversations uncovering nonprofits’ programmatic goals, fundraising hurdles, and constituent engagement objectives
  • Build long-term partnerships through consultative sales aligned with customer objectives
  • Partner with Salesforce RVPs and AVPs to drive opportunities and strengthen ecosystem presence
  • Oversee deal structuring, pricing, estimating, and contract negotiations
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team through strategic guidance and coaching
  • Foster collaboration between sales, delivery, and business-unit leadership
  • Own forecasting and pipeline management to drive business visibility and predictability
  • Manage sales cycles efficiently while balancing speed and thoroughness
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure customer success and seamless project execution
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
  • Travel to support sales cycles and close business

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Consulting within the Salesforce ecosystem or related SaaS consulting space
  • Experience with multi-cloud Salesforce configurations in the Nonprofit industry
  • Proven track record of growing and managing an industry-specific portfolio with $25M+ in annual bookings
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing and scaling quota-carrying sales teams
  • Experience leading complex sales cycles, including stakeholder alignment, contract negotiation, and execution
  • Ability to influence C-level executives, guiding them through strategic decision-making and solution alignment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to drive data-driven sales decisions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel is required to support sales cycles and client engagements
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
  • Experience as a Salesforce Consultant, preferably at an implementation partner
