Job Description

Video Editor creating advertising video creatives for a digital marketing company specializing in high-converting campaigns. Producing and optimizing video content across various channels in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce advertising video creatives based on briefs from the Creative Manager
  • Independently search for footage and source materials for creatives when required
  • Quickly implement edits and improvements based on test results (within 24 hours)
  • Collect, maintain, and use ready-made smart presets and templates
  • Participate in improving and updating templates for new formats and creative hypotheses
  • Follow creative guidelines (dimensions, duration, text readability, teaser, and preview requirements)
  • Check creatives for bugs, faulty renders, and visual artifacts before delivery
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Manager to fully understand tasks and objectives
  • Track creative performance based on test results in collaboration with Media Buyers and the Creative Manager
  • Convert feedback into improvements for future creatives
  • Prepare and adapt creatives for different landing pages, headlines, and offers

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a Video Editor in performance-oriented environments such as e-commerce, product apps, or affiliate/arbitrage marketing teams
  • Confident use of one or more video editing tools (CapCut, Canva, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of After Effects (or ability and willingness to learn)
  • Strong understanding of dynamic video editing principles
  • Ability to work with shapes and masks
  • Ability to cut out UGC actors from green screen footage
  • Basic understanding of design principles (contrast, color theory) and text composition
  • English level of B1 or higher
