Job Description
Entry-level Video Editing Assistant supporting UK clients with video production from South Africa. No prior experience necessary; comprehensive training provided in a remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns
- Add captions, transitions, music, and effects to video content as directed
- Organise and manage video files and assets in shared drives
- Assist with basic colour grading and audio adjustments
- Export videos in appropriate formats and resolutions for various platforms
- Collaborate with the creative team to align video content with brand guidelines
- Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Basic familiarity with video editing software such as CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere (training provided)
- Creative eye with attention to detail and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and willingness to take direction
- Passion for content creation and digital media
- No formal qualifications required — enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key
