Job Description

Part-time WordPress/Elementor developer maintaining and extending an ERP consulting firm's existing website. Publishing content, building responsive pages, and troubleshooting front-end issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Update copy, imagery, sections, and layouts on existing WordPress pages
  • Align new work with the existing design system and brand guidelines
  • Implement updates without breaking current flows, layouts, or features
  • Design and implement new sections and full pages inside Elementor
  • Extend or duplicate existing layouts cleanly
  • Propose implementation options for loosely defined requirements
  • Publish and format blog posts and other content updates
  • Maintain the content library, remove outdated items, fix broken links, and adjust navigation
  • Ensure changes are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile
  • Test updates for regressions and broken functionality
  • Troubleshoot layout issues and minor front-end bugs
  • Clarify requirements, communicate timelines, provide status updates, respond during working hours, and flag blockers early
  • Proactively propose UX and layout improvements

Requirements:

  • Strong, proven hands-on WordPress experience
  • Deep, hands-on Elementor experience building sections and editing/extending layouts
  • Solid understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot layout issues and minor front-end bugs
  • Availability for at least 5 hours per week overlapping U.S. Eastern Time
  • Strong general WordPress skills within an existing site
  • Understanding of responsive/mobile-first design principles
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO basics is a plus
  • Comfort with light copy/layout refinement is a plus
  • Computer with at least 8GB RAM and Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor or higher
  • Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
  • Headset with extended noise-cancelling microphone and webcam
  • Backup computer and internet connection
  • Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Own computer with Intel Core i5 or similar or higher
