Job Description
Working Student Data Science building production data pipelines and predictive models for SIXT, a global mobility services provider. Analysing real business data and supporting machine learning experiments near Munich.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated data-ingestion solutions for CSV, JSON, Parquet, HTML, and other formats
- Analyse data to identify hypotheses and validate them through statistical experiments
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and monitor data quality
- Communicate findings to the team
- Support development, training, and evaluation of predictive models
- Prepare features, apply machine learning techniques, and track model performance
- Collaborate with experienced data scientists and contribute ideas
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
- Enrolled student in Munich studying Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field
- Background in Artificial Intelligence
- Proficiency in Python
- Knowledge of core machine learning concepts
- Experience with pandas, scikit-learn, and numpy
- Experience with matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly, and Streamlit
- Experience with exploratory data analysis
- Fluency in English
