Job Description
Academic Coach supporting learners from orientation to program completion. Collaborating with faculty to overcome obstacles and achieve academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary contact for learners from matriculation to program completion
- Manage a pipeline of learners by coaching, mentoring, and motivating
- Provide personalized interactions to assist learners in achieving educational goals
- Monitor and address potential barriers impacting learner success and completion
- Collaborate with faculty and other university partners to address learner concerns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
- Master's degree preferred
- Doctoral degree preferred for Doctoral Advisors
- Prefer two to four years of professional experience using advanced coaching, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with adult learners and/or faculty is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
