Job Description

Administrative Charge Paralegal at Wanta Thome, handling agency charges in employment disputes. Ensuring accuracy and deadlines in federal and state court processes while working remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all administrative agency filings from initial charge through final rebuttal and close of record
  • Coordinate with EEOC and state-level agencies (IDHR, MDHR, and comparable bodies) on procedural requirements and timelines
  • Draft and review position statement responses, rebuttals, and supporting documentation
  • Track deadlines across an active caseload with zero margin for error
  • Maintain case records and workflow status in HubSpot and SharePoint

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of direct experience with US administrative agency procedures (EEOC, IDHR, or comparable state agencies)
  • Demonstrated ability to draft persuasive, technically precise legal documents
  • Systematic approach to deadline management and case tracking
  • Native-level professional written English
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment during North American business hours
