Job Description
Certification Analyst investigating websites, products, and merchants for LegitScript, which makes internet and payment ecosystems safer. Reviewing compliance, identifying risks, and determining certification eligibility.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, assess, and/or classify certification applicants using open-source intelligence, proprietary tools, industry best practices, and contextual data
- Understand and utilize tools and resources necessary for regular program tasks
- Make quick, accurate analytical decisions based on sometimes ambiguous information
- Summarize analysis findings in clear, concise written reports
- Submit reports according to program reporting standards and strict deadlines
- Escalate questions to appropriate colleagues using sound judgment
- Assist with projects and tasks assigned by the Manager
- Maintain program documentation as directed by Senior Analysts and the Manager
- Conduct online background investigations of applicants
- Review website content for problematic products and policies
- Conduct compliance reviews to determine applicants’ eligibility for LegitScript certification
- Communicate with clients via email, phone, or video conference as needed
- Monitor billing and payment status and escalate internally when appropriate
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a dynamic market with a continuous improvement mindset

- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to use good judgment and make sound independent decisions
- Experience with large data sets (Excel and Google Sheets)
- Fantastic attention to detail

- Tech-savvy
- Well-developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English
