Job Description

Architectural Draftsperson creating high-quality Revit documentation for commercial projects at Twoconnect. Collaborating with teams and consultants to ensure accurate and compliant architectural drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • The Architectural Draftsperson (Revit) is responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate, and coordinated architectural documentation using Revit for commercial projects.
  • Working closely with the Studio Team Leader, Project Team and consultants, this role supports the preparation of drawing sets from design development through to construction documentation
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, models, and documentation using Revit in line with project timelines and requirements.
  • Assist with the development of design documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
  • Coordinate architectural documentation with consultant inputs (structural, services, etc.).
  • Ensure all drawings comply with the NCC, relevant Australian Standards, and office drafting standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the architectural team to resolve design issues and technical challenges.
  • Participate in drawing reviews and ensure drawing quality and accuracy.
  • Support model maintenance.
  • Perform other role specific duties as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architectural Drafting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience using Revit in an architectural firm, preferably on commercial projects.
  • Solid understanding of Australian construction methods, BCA/NCC, and local council requirements.
  • Ability to produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and sections.
  • Understanding of BIM (Building Information Modelling) workflows and collaboration.
  • Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset for resolving design and coordination issues.
