Job Description

Associate Manufacturing Engineer supporting Quest Global’s aerospace engineering solutions through part analysis and supplier transitions. Reviewing drawings, managing PLM updates, and tracking technical milestones.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Engineering Part Analysis (EPAs)
  • Execute Transition Design Reviews (TDRs)
  • Identify export requirements
  • Review engineering drawings for content, notes, accuracy, legibility and other noteworthy findings
  • Evaluate the level of difficulty to transition suppliers and identify roadblocks
  • Investigate and implement source control parts for compliant alternatives
  • Follow drawing updates and approvals in the PLM tool
  • Ensure all data is captured and ready to present to chief engineering staff
  • Ensure EPA and TDR milestones are met
  • Seek advice from subject matter experts when required
  • Report project status during regular internal meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent years of experience
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to read and understand part drawings
  • Knowledge of engineering mechanics
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity or interest with aerospace industry desired
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team and organizational skills
  • Ability to express technical information clearly and simply
  • Ability to work as a team member in a technical project environment
  • Must be self-motivated and able to think 'outside the box'
  • U.S. citizenship is required
