Job Description
Medical editor creating Portuguese medical education content for AMBOSS. Developing, reviewing, and localizing resources for medical students in Brazil.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, write, and review new medical content for medical students, focusing on international markets such as Brazil
- Review and optimize existing content on the AMBOSS platform
- Collaborate with illustrators to create flowcharts and illustrations
- Integrate user feedback and evidence-based guidelines to keep content current and relevant
- Communicate with marketing and product teams to optimize the platform and interface for medical students in Brazil
- Become an expert in the content management system integrating text, images, and videos for AMBOSS articles and questions
- Collaborate with motivated physicians and cross-disciplinary teams
- Research literature and explain complex medical topics clearly and didactically
Requirements:
- Recognized medical degree (preferred graduation < 3 years prior)
- Brazilian Portuguese native speaker
- Deep understanding of the medical education space in Brazil, including exam formats and learning challenges
- Experience taking a centralized medical exam in Brazil or an equivalent international exam, such as ENAMED, USMLE, IFOM, PLAB/UKMLA, or AMC exam
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full-time or near-full-time availability
- Located in Brazil or Germany
- Technical literacy is a strong plus, such as experience with AI tools, data-driven decision-making, or programming basics
- Current or previous AMBOSS user is a plus
- Experience creating educational content is a plus
- Must be a physician
- Must have a valid work permit for the country applied to
