Job Description
Associate Space Analyst supporting category management for Constellation Brands’ beer, wine, and spirits portfolio. Executing space planning, assortment analysis, data validation, and reporting remotely across the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Manage or assist in space management projects
- Conduct space planning, drawing, and validation of sets projects
- Assist with collecting raw customer data for space planning software
- Manipulate, cleanse, combine, analyze, and validate data from multiple data sources
- Follow retailer standards and merchandising guidelines
- Update, manage, and refine scorecards and reports to measure results
- Coordinate with IT and technical teams to ensure efficient use of technology
- Engage with the Category Leadership team to plan projects, meet expectations, and ensure successful completion of assortment and space planning projects
- Support space and assortment opportunities aligned with Category Leadership’s strategic direction
- Utilize multiple Category Leadership technology platforms for daily activities
- Train to become an expert user of space planning and assortment software, processes, and solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- Strong technical skills with analytical experience, which may include an internship, focused on food and beverage retailing or merchandising, or sales experience from any industry
- Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action, and adjust to change
- Ability to apply logic and rules to prepare data for categorization and analysis
- Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Average proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel by plane approximately 10%
- Must be able to work in an office environment primarily and periodically in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and lighting
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear
- Must have close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, peripheral vision, and color vision
