Job Description
Automation Engineer leveraging n8n to streamline processes at an AI-driven advertising technology company. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain complex, production-ready automation workflows using our core platform, n8n.
- Develop and manage integrations with external APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Workspace, data providers) and internal services to create seamless automation flows.
- Integrate OpenAI and other LLM APIs into automation pipelines for sophisticated use cases like data enrichment, classification, and content generation.
- Work closely with Product, Sales, and Operations to map their pain points and deliver high-impact automated solutions.
- Act as Sparteo's technical reference for automation, promoting best practices and empowering other teams.
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of experience in a technical role such as Automation Engineer, Technical Operations, or Backend Developer.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with n8n or similar automation platforms (e.g., Make/Integromat, Zapier at an advanced level), and a passion for building sophisticated workflows.
- Strong technical foundation, with a solid understanding of APIs (REST), webhooks, and data structures (JSON).
- Natural problem-solver with a structured and analytical mindset, capable of breaking down complex processes into logical, automated steps.
- Excellent communicator and enjoys working cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Proactive, autonomous, and driven to create a tangible impact on business operations.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM, particularly its APIs and automation features (even better).
- Knowledge of a scripting language like Python or JavaScript/Node.js (even better).
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced scale-up environment (even better).
