Job Description
Automation QA Engineer testing Caseware’s cloud accounting and audit software. Building automated coverage across web applications, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and execute manual and automated tests across the SE platform
- Ensure comprehensive feature coverage
- Contribute to quality releases and reduce time to market by adding automation test coverage
- Participate and contribute in agile ceremonies
- Participate in test cycles for E2E test verification and validation processes
- Automate manual tests
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Share knowledge and provide mentorship to team members as required
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Willingness to learn and/or in-depth knowledge of Cypress and TypeScript
- Core automation skills and in-depth understanding of frameworks and tools used for web application and microservices testing
- Understanding of cloud, microservice, and third-party integration-based architecture and databases
- Extensive knowledge of version control systems such as Git to manage test artifacts
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Experience working with DevOps to build and enhance a CI/CD pipeline
- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment with changing priorities
- Strong communication, time management, interpersonal, and team-building skills
- Keen eye for detail and well-developed problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
