Job Description
Sr. Distribution Manager at Velocity Risk partnering with VP of Distribution to build and execute distribution strategies. Involved in market feedback, partnerships, and competitive analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the VP of Distribution and fellow Manager(s) to build out robust distribution strategies
- Compile and understand market feedback and research to understand what partners value and translate into actionable business strategies
- Serve as the Distribution relationship partner for MMB Underwriters on specific producer plans for growth
- Support VP of Distributions external relationships and efforts
- Staying aware of market trends and competition and creating actionable strategies/changes
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ related experience in Commercial Insurance Distribution
- Superb skills in writing and verbally communicating
- High attention to detail
- Systematic record keeping skills
- Able to recognize time sensitivity and adapt accordingly
- Able to shift and adjust daily activities according to business needs without 'dropping a ball'
