Job Description
AWS DevOps Engineer managing AWS/Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Supporting Alia Premedia Services’ cloud operations from Chennai, India.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS and cloud infrastructure
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
- Manage Kubernetes environments on EKS and AKS, including deployments, Helm charts, RBAC, and networking
- Containerize applications using Docker
- Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell
- Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux
- Manage secrets using Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault
- Configure and troubleshoot networking components including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and VPNs
- Monitor and troubleshoot production environments using CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of overall DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, ALB/NLB, Route53, and CloudFormation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including AKS, Azure DevOps, and Azure networking/storage fundamentals
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including modules, remote state management, and provider configuration
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines across GitLab, Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, and GitHub Actions
- Strong Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) experience, including deployments, Helm charts, RBAC, and networking
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies
- Scripting expertise using Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell
- Familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux
- Experience with secrets management solutions such as Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and VPNs
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments
