Job Description
Intern supporting backend and API development at Sensedia, a leader in API solutions and consultancy. Collaborating in agile projects and learning on the job in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and evolution of APIs and backend services, always working under the guidance of the team.
- Learn the Sensedia platform and products in practice, especially in the consulting context.
- Work on agile projects, participating in rituals such as daily stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, working with professionals from different profiles (development, architecture, QA, etc.).
- Assist in the analysis and understanding of technical and functional requirements.
- Contribute to code quality by following best practices, standards, and technical guidelines.
- Help with technical documentation and understanding the solutions developed.
- Interface with clients, supporting technical meetings, following discussions, and learning about the business context.
Requirements:
- Basic programming knowledge, preferably in Java and/or Python.
- Understanding of APIs and integrations, especially REST API concepts.
- Basic knowledge of HTTP (methods, status codes, requests and responses).
- Familiarity with programming logic and basic data structures.
- Interest in backend development and willingness to learn about integration platforms and APIs.
- Basic knowledge of Git for version control.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
