Job Description
Senior Java Developer developing scalable enterprise applications with Spring Boot for Newfold Digital. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring code quality and application stability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our Spring Boot applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Java code adhering to best practices
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and other developers to define technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and maintainability
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and application stability
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical problems efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Java developer
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot framework and its core components
- Solid understanding of Java SE 8+ features (lambdas, streams, etc.)
- Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms (Oracle, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
