Job Description
Backend Developer focused on leading backend application projects ensuring technical quality in São Paulo. Required expertise in Node.js, Cloud AWS, and software architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Design and add monitoring and alerting capabilities to existing applications
- Implement auto-scaling capabilities to ensure applications can handle workload variations
- Update libraries and tools to keep the environment secure and efficient
- Define and implement backup and recovery policies to protect data and ensure service continuity
- Implement security measures and encryption to guard against vulnerabilities
- Optimize performance through metric analysis and by implementing caching and parallelism techniques
- Modernize and migrate applications to cloud-native services
- Integrate and automate processes, incorporating monitoring tools, CI/CD and configuration management
- Continuously improve user experience based on usage analytics and usability testing
Requirements:
- Technologies and Languages: Node.js, Next.js, Kotlin, Python, Go
- Design and Development: APIs, backend and web applications
- Software Architecture: Distributed systems and microservices
- Messaging and streaming
- Cloud: AWS, cloud application design, scalability and elasticity concepts
- Databases: SQL, data modeling
- Logging and monitoring
- Test planning, test scenarios and test automation
- Tools: Jira, Miro
