Job Description
Backend Developer specializing in Node.js at Grupo Boticário, a leading Brazilian beauty conglomerate. Implementing backend solutions while ensuring quality and performance in digital financial products.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the best backend solutions for our applications, always prioritizing quality, performance, best programming practices, simplicity, and the best user experience for our products.
- Develop, write unit and automated tests, deploy, and monitor what has been developed (in addition to ensuring quality and adhering to best programming practices).
- Improve applications by identifying opportunities for enhancement, making recommendations, and designing and implementing systems.
- Improve system quality by identifying recurring issues and patterns, and by developing standard operating procedures.
- Maintain, improve, and review existing code through Code Review and Pair Programming.
- Maintain strong working relationships while seeking innovative solutions for projects, collaborating effectively, and communicating well.
- Research and adopt new technologies when relevant.
- Keep documentation up to date.
- Be passionate about problem solving and finding viable solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong experience developing with Node.js.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of quality best practices such as TDD, BDD, and SOLID.
- Knowledge of object-oriented or functional programming.
- Experience working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Ability to work autonomously in a cross-functional, multi-language, and collaborative environment.
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Experience with code versioning (GitHub).
