Job Description
Backend Engineer Consultant building Go gateway services and provider adapters for Inflect’s digital infrastructure marketplace. Enabling reliable, self-serve onboarding of network, GPU, bare-metal, and data providers.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and maintain Go-based backend services and provider adapters for network, bare-metal/GPU, and data providers
- Contribute to schema mapping frameworks, GUI tooling, validation guardrails, and LLM-assisted integration frameworks for self-serve provider onboarding
- Own assigned adapter surfaces end-to-end, delivering well-tested and highly observable services while maintaining existing adapter logic
- Collaborate asynchronously across Design, QA, and Data Foundation with US business hours overlap
- Conduct code reviews, pull-request assessments, and technical documentation updates
- Independently ship reliable production provider integrations and adapters
- Successfully onboard at least one new supply provider group into the marketplace
- Reduce manual engineering effort per provider through self-serve onboarding frameworks and GUI/validation tooling
- Reliably own, test, and maintain an end-to-end gateway slice under pod technical standards
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional backend development experience
- Production expertise in Go, or strong adjacent languages with a rapid ramp to Go
- Experience with REST/API integrations, Postgres, Redis, and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Practical experience building provider adapters, schema mapping tools, validation guardrails, and message-queue/event-driven architectures
- Exposure to Node.js/TypeScript backend tooling, LLM/agent integration frameworks, and GUI tooling
- Fluent professional English communication skills
- Must maintain an active corporate entity (Pessoa Jurídica - PJ / CNPJ) in Brazil
- Must upload valid electronic service invoices (Nota Fiscal de Serviços Eletrônica - NFS-e) into Rippling for monthly disbursement
