Job Description

Backend Engineer building Go-powered data systems for Sensor Tower’s app intelligence SaaS platform. Developing APIs, optimizing databases, and delivering reliable AppMagic features for SMB customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve and build new features for AppMagic, Sensor Tower’s app market intelligence SaaS platform focused on SMBs
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, quality polishing, and release
  • Perform parsing, data aggregation, API design, refactoring, and performance optimization
  • Create and optimize complex database queries for data analysis and modification
  • Conduct code reviews and suggest improvements to tools and processes
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers while building fast, reliable systems that make large-scale data accessible and understandable

Requirements:

  • +3 years of experience with Go; candidates with fewer years may be considered if they have meaningful GitHub contributions and other coding samples
  • Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse
  • Ability to use ORMs appropriately and write and debug complex raw SQL queries
  • Ability to write testable, high-quality code
  • Product-oriented mindset and focus on product excellence
  • Proactive curiosity and willingness to investigate sources independently
  • Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Ability to pass the technical interview in both Russian and English
  • Hands-on, thoughtful use of AI tools in development
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Armenia without requiring visa support now or in the future
  • Resume, GitHub profile, and a link to a contributed GitHub repository required when applying
