Job Description

Bilingual RN guiding U.S. patients through medication access, prior authorization, and treatment support. Representing Inizio Engage, a healthcare engagement partner serving biotechnology clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and payers to ensure patient access to prescribed medication and support throughout treatment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers
  • Support HCP enrollments into patient support programs
  • Guide patients and caregivers through enrollment, benefits verification, prior authorization, financial assistance, and therapy initiation
  • Provide education on program offerings, insurance processes, disease state, and treatment
  • Manage assigned patient cases from referral through therapy initiation
  • Conduct benefits investigations
  • Manage prior authorization and appeals processes
  • Identify and address financial, clinical, and adherence barriers
  • Support medication adherence and ongoing patient engagement
  • Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, and internal teams
  • Document patient interactions and outcomes
  • Monitor case progress and escalate complex reimbursement issues
  • Participate in quality initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • 3+ years of clinical nursing
  • 3+ years of experience in dermatology or immunology preferred
  • 2–5 years of case management and patient support experience
  • Experience in case management, patient access, HUB services, or specialty pharmacy preferred
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and patient advocacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a patient caseload independently
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a virtual or call center environment
