Job Description
Boomi Integration Platform Developer implementing integrations and APIs for customers of Boomi’s enterprise connectivity platform. Designing solutions, advising on best practices, and coaching junior consultants remotely across EMEA.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the Boomi platform and develop Boomi integrations and APIs for customers
- Support Boomi Platform implementation remotely for clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
- Work closely with regional Project Managers to design and develop integration solutions
- Evaluate customer applications and assess integration approaches
- Act as a product expert for Boomi applications, including the AtomSphere integration platform
- Recommend best practices for implementing, managing, and governing integrations using Boomi AtomSphere
- Define and promote adoption of Boomi product best practices across internal and external user communities
- Provide support and coaching to junior team members
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements, assist with project scoping, and build innovative business solutions
Requirements:
- Multiple years of experience working with enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and application and data integration patterns, including JMS, SOAP/REST web services, and databases
- Practical experience with service-oriented architecture design and enabling technologies, including messaging, XML, JSON, web services, and HTTP
- Advanced knowledge of common business systems and processes, including CRM, SFA, ERP, lead to cash, requisitions, and order management
- General knowledge of application infrastructure components, including VMware, NAS, SAN, SMB, Java JVM, networking, firewalls, load balancing, and proxies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience with AI would be beneficial, including customer conversations about possibilities, building agents, and understanding security and data limitations
- Desirable database skills, including SQL, data modelling, MS SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle
- Desirable development scripting skills with Java, Groovy, or JavaScript
- One year or more of Boomi platform experience would be advantageous
- Experience in professional services consulting or working directly with customers
- Experience providing coaching and support to junior team members
- Additional language capabilities besides English are desirable
