Job Description

Brand Ambassador engaging homeowners at events to promote free inspections and book appointments. Ideal for candidates with event, promotional, or retail experience, joining Groundworks team.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively approach and engage home show attendees
  • Identify homeowner concerns related to foundations, crawl spaces, basements, or concrete
  • Educate customers on Groundworks’ Free Inspection services
  • Book qualified inspection appointments using a provided tablet
  • Maintain professionalism and high energy throughout event shifts
  • Attend a required 1‑hour virtual training the Tuesday prior to the event from 4-5 PM EST
  • Assist with booth setup breakdown following the event
  • If assigned equipment drop‑off, return materials to the local branch after the show (4-door sedan or larger)

Requirements:

  • Confident initiating conversations in a fast‑paced, crowded environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Comfortable using technology and entering customer information accurately
  • Goal‑driven and motivated by performance‑based incentives
  • Prior experience as a Brand Ambassador, Event Staff, or in promotional roles preferred
  • Experience representing home services companies strongly preferred
  • Must be available for all scheduled show days (not just one or two out of the total event)
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work active weekend event shifts
