Job Description
OpenStack Architect supporting Red Hat cloud technology solutions in Puteaux, France. Working at customer sites to design and implement reliable and scalable architecture solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a customer advocate, designing the right solutions and ensuring that they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way
- Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and inspire customer use cases and architecture design decisions
- Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments
- Design, create, and deliver content that will enable the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support our cloud and infrastructure solutions at scale
- Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeated customer engagements, and lower delivery risks
- Serve as a subject matter expert and present creative ideas in the community by producing exceptional whitepapers and webinars and by speaking at high-profile industry conferences
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a consulting role; ability to deliver in one-on-one assignments
- Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level
- Experience implementing virtualization technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments
- Knowledge of one or more Red Hat infrastructure solutions such as Red Hat OpenStack and OpenShift
- Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and guide customer interactions
- Understanding of the open source community
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and planning skills
- Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification is a plus
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, or the ability to get it within a few weeks of the start date, is a plus
- Willing to travel to customers within France and occasionally EMEA wide
- Fluency in English and French language
