Job Description
Senior Software Engineer building NVIDIA accelerated compute cloud services. Developing scalable automation for hardware, networking, and multi-tenant infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Build NVIDIA’s accelerated compute cloud services
- Develop software to manage hardware and network provisioning for multi-tenant infrastructure
- Work with software engineers, product architects, and product managers to deliver end-to-end cloud infrastructure solutions
- Write services and software aligned with the NVIDIA DSX OS architectural vision
- Collaborate with other teams to develop robust and scalable systems
- Own code from development through commit, testing, and production
- Work with NVIDIA internal partners
- Design and build scalable software systems for NVIDIA’s cloud infrastructure
- Build network and systems automation software for multi-tenant cloud infrastructure
- Participate in open-source communities
- Present roadmaps, vision, and demos to internal stakeholders and NVIDIA leadership
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience designing and building distributed software systems
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related areas, or equivalent experience
- Ability to write code in C, C++, Golang, or Rust
- Ability to design and implement maintainable APIs for consumers
- Experience with asynchronous programming, type safety, threading models, state machines, and data structures
- Background in data persistence, such as SQL
- Understanding of secure communication protocols, such as mutual-TLS or IPsec
- Experience in a hyperscale cloud service provider environment
- Understanding of networking protocols including IP, IPv6, BGP, HTTP, ICMP, VXLAN, Geneve, FoU, and GRE
- Background with host management systems including DHCP, Redfish, and UEFI
- Knowledge of host security services including TPM, TXT, and SecureBoot
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or distributed task scheduling
- Knowledge of SRE principles including observability, SLOs, and logging
