Job Description
Cloud Security Architect/Engineer designing and assessing secure enterprise cloud solutions for PingWind’s Federal Government clients. Aligning modernization with FedRAMP, RMF, authorization, and architecture requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide cloud security architecture and engineering expertise for the design, assessment, and implementation of secure enterprise cloud solutions
- Ensure cloud modernization efforts align with Federal security, authorization, and enterprise architecture requirements
- Design and assess secure cloud architectures and solutions
- Translate FedRAMP, RMF, and cybersecurity requirements into system and application designs
- Conduct architecture reviews to identify threats, attack paths, control gaps, and residual risks
- Support Federal A&A and ATO activities and associated security artifacts
- Develop security controls, reference architectures, patterns, and recommended mitigations
- Evaluate cloud solutions against applicable Federal and industry security requirements
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, developers, and Government stakeholders throughout implementation
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required VA background investigation/suitability determination and system access
- Certification in one or more of the following: IAT III, IAM III or IASAE III certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security, Information Resource Management, or related fields
- Minimum of 10 years of Information Security experience
- At least 5 years of Cybersecurity and Cloud Security experience at a large Government agency similar in size/scope to GSA, IRS, DoD or VA
- Expertise in Federal cloud security architecture and engineering
- Experience with FedRAMP/RMF and Federal A&A/ATO activities
