Job Description
Compliance Officer managing regulatory compliance and risk assessments for UK-based employer. Collaborating remotely from South Africa, focusing on compliance monitoring and policy implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support compliance monitoring, policy implementation, and regulatory reporting
- Handle risk assessments, internal audits, and compliance training coordination
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audit findings, and regulatory filings
- Use relevant tools such as compliance management software, GRC platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Support the wider team with data protection, AML, and FCA or relevant regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the compliance framework and reduce regulatory risk
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple compliance tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in compliance management tools and familiar with UK regulatory frameworks
- Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience working with UK-based regulatory environments or employers is advantageous
- Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment.
