Job Description
SAP MDK Consultant developing, customizing, and supporting mobile applications for the SAP Service & Asset Manager in collaborative environments. Requires strong JavaScript skills and SAP MDK proficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Android and iOS mobile applications using the SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK)
- Deploy the SAP Service & Asset Manager (SSAM) application
- Perform technical configurations via Mobile Services (Destinations, Security Params, and Offline Configurations)
- Apply notes via patch
- Create custom MDK artifacts: Pages, Rules, Actions, and Services
- Produce technical and functional documentation according to company and/or client standards.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in development with SAP MDK (Mobile Development Kit)
- Experience in JavaScript development: knowledge of ES6 syntax and asynchronous development paradigms, promises, async/await
- Experience debugging MDK applications using Visual Studio Code
- Experience using local MDK tools (TNS/NativeScript and ILODATA)
- Experience managing extensions and external dependencies
- Knowledge of the ODATA protocol in all its methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), as well as URL options ($select, $filter, $expand, $orderby, etc.)
- Code versioning with Git
- Preferable experience with SAP Service & Asset Manager projects
- Intermediate English
- Good communication skills and a proactive profile for problem solving
- Ability to work in a team and interact with functional areas
