Job Description
Data Analyst analyzing GEL Services Division data across retail and shared services. Developing dashboards, KPIs, and recommendations to improve business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, interpret, and present business data
- Provide actionable insights supporting informed decision-making and improved business performance across the GEL Services Division
- Support retail businesses and shared service functions through analysis of operational, financial, customer, workforce, and other business data
- Identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and other analytical tools
- Collaborate with business leaders and functional teams to translate data into practical recommendations
- Improve performance, efficiency, profitability, customer experience, and service delivery
- Report to the Divisional General Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 2–4 years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and visualization
- Experience developing management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working with multiple data sources and large datasets
- Advanced data analysis and interpretation skills
- Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools, preferably Power BI
- Data cleaning, preparation, and management skills
- Knowledge of SQL or other data querying tools
- Experience working with ERP, POS, HRIS, CRM, financial, retail, and/or operational systems
- KPI and performance measurement capability
- Report automation and process improvement skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and reliability
