Job Description
Data Analyst supporting Relentless’s voter-mobilization programs through SQL, BigQuery, reporting, and outreach-list accuracy. Maintaining data infrastructure for progressive civic organizing.
Responsibilities:
- Triage and fulfill incoming data requests from internal departments and partners, including ad hoc counts and user lists
- Validate figures and flag numbers that do not hold up
- Work with the Product Manager and Associate Data Solutions Director to prototype and implement standard reports
- Pull participant outreach lists using Rally and/or BigQuery
- Coordinate with the Associate Solutions Engineer on digital infrastructure and suppression logic
- Use participant activity data to evaluate outreach effectiveness and identify opportunities to increase impact
- Document recurring queries and report logic for reuse throughout the program
- Use LLMs to create skills and workflows that help other departments explore and analyze data
- Ensure outreach lists are accurate, correctly suppressed, and validated before distribution
- Serve as the first contact for data questions from other departments
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of SQL, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and debugging others’ queries
- Experience with Google BigQuery or another data warehouse
- Ability to execute multiple tasks and deliver by given deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information accessibly to non-technical staff
- Commitment to fighting for progressive electoral outcomes
- Thrives in a highly-collaborative remote work environment
- Entirely virtual role requiring reliable internet access and proficiency in Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and similar online platforms
- Prior campaign/organizing experience (nice to have)
- Experience using LLM tools to speed up analysis or build reusable workflows (nice to have)
