Job Description
Data Annotator reconstructing 3D power-grid digital twins from LiDAR, GIS maps, and drone imagery. Supporting Label Your Data’s geospatial AI annotation services.
Responsibilities:
- Reconstruct 3D power grid networks using point cloud (LiDAR) and map (GIS) data
- Place 3D objects such as poles, lines, and conductors to match real-world physical layouts
- Align original 2D map data with 3D models
- Label high-resolution drone photos to identify grid components and detect structural defects, including equipment damage or wear
- Contribute to accurate and reliable digital twins of power grids and critical infrastructure used for network analysis, risk prediction, and maintenance planning
Requirements:
- Strong spatial reasoning and the ability to easily navigate 3D environments
- English B2 (ability to read instructions, watch training videos, and communicate effectively)
- High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn from feedback
- PC/laptop with an Intel i7-11800H (or equivalent/better CPU)
- Dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or better; RTX 4060 recommended)
- Minimum 16 GB RAM (32 GB preferred)
- CV in English highlighting spatial and technical skills
