Job Description
Data Annotator labeling and validating computer-vision videos and images for SQUAD’s AI data services. Improving annotation quality, tools, documentation, and delivery speed.
Responsibilities:
- Label videos or images according to given instructions
- Check and validate annotations to ensure compliance with standards
- Enhance annotation tools, methods, and instructions to increase efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with internal and customer teams to align on annotation requirements
- Monitor errors and evaluate annotation quality
- Research new tools and types of annotation and communicate findings to internal and external teams
- Increase output speed while balancing velocity and quality
- Create documentation and guidelines for new types of tasks
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience using specialized platforms and tools for annotation
- Previous experience with several types of annotation
- High attention to detail and ability to notice slight deviations and inconsistencies in data labeling
- Quick learning of new data annotation tools
- Good analytical thinking
- Basic Excel and SQL skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Exceptional self-management and autonomy in the workplace
- Experience automating annotation processes using scripts or API integration is nice to have
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence is nice to have
