Job Description

Data Engineer building scalable pipelines and governed data infrastructure for Ergomed Group’s pharmaceutical research and business intelligence initiatives. Supporting analytics, AI, and machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable data integration pipelines from cloud, on-premise, and API sources
  • Transform and cleanse raw data for advanced analytics and business intelligence
  • Automate manual data preparation tasks using modern data architectures and tools
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and optimize workflows
  • Implement data quality checks and governance standards to ensure data integrity
  • Partner with data scientists and analysts to optimize machine learning models
  • Enable business stakeholders to effectively consume data
  • Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to operationalize reliable data solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field
  • Proven experience in data management, including data integration, modeling, optimization, and quality
  • Experience developing analytical platforms that drive concrete business value
  • Strong background collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders on enterprise data initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lake/Lakehouse, Data Fabric, Data Mesh, and MPP engines
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Kafka, Airflow, and Spark
  • Intermediate experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Experience building data solutions supporting AI, ML, and BI initiatives
  • Basic knowledge of Python, R, Databricks, TensorFlow, SAS, or similar tools
  • Expert problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to executive, business, IT, and quantitative stakeholders
  • High ethical standards and strong commitment to regulatory compliance
