Job Description
Data Engineer specializing in AWS solutions for IRIUM. Design, develop, and deploy data solutions with Scala expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Design, development, testing, and deployment of robust and scalable data solutions on AWS.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant data platforms.
- Teamwork under agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and use of collaborative tools like Jira.
- Evaluate functional requirements and compare them with product functionalities ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Autonomy to manage tasks and responsibilities independently, maintaining a high level of quality in developing and implementing solutions.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of working experience as Data Engineer
- 3 years of working experience with Scala
- Strong technical expertise in: Spark / Scala Python SQL
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, including: S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, Lambda
- Solid experience in ETL design and data modeling.
- Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to anticipate edge cases and scalability challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
