Job Description
Senior Backend Engineer involved in product transformation at Bark, focusing on backend processes and API solutions. Contributing to new technology decisions and modernizing the tech stack.
Responsibilities:
- Work with development teams and product managers to implement software solutions
- Build elegant and performant APIs and handlers
- Develop and manage well-functioning datastores and services
- Mentor other engineers to support their growth
- Design solutions for high volume transaction systems
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Python development
- Expertise in defining, implementing, and testing APIs
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or similar
- Strong organizational skills and ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
