Job Description

Database Developer seeking to design and optimize databases with SQL Server and Power BI for AI productivity. Collaborating in an AI-first engineering culture on enterprise-grade applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize relational database architectures to support enterprise applications
  • Write, review, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, views, triggers, and stored procedures
  • Perform data migration, transformation, and cleansing across multiple environments
  • Develop, schedule, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes
  • Design and implement data models for reporting and analytics
  • Build and publish Power BI dashboards and reports, integrating data from multiple sources
  • Monitor and improve database performance, scalability, and security
  • Collaborate closely with application developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and performance
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity, accelerate coding tasks, and automate repetitive database operations
  • Support data-driven decision-making through BI and analytics solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later)
  • Strong experience in database design, normalization, and optimization
  • Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL, including advanced query tuning and indexing
  • Proven experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL processes
  • Experience in data migration between heterogeneous systems
  • Proficiency in Power BI report creation and data modeling
  • Familiarity with database security, roles, and permissions
  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, etc.) for query optimization, data analysis, and documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
