Job Description
Remote Freight Forwarding Tutor delivering apprenticeship and commercial training for Seetec. Coaching learners, assessing progress, and preparing them for Gateway and End Point Assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of learners to achieve the required outcomes in the workplace
- Undertake training, assessments and reviews within sector specialism / occupational areas using an electronic E-portfolio system
- Provide mentoring and support to learners to achieve Seetec’s training outcome targets
- Design and implement course work material
- Design and deliver engaging learning experiences through workshops, webinars and one-to-one coaching
- Guide learners throughout their journey by setting SMART targets, providing constructive feedback and assessing work
- Prepare individuals for Gateway and End Point Assessments (EPA)
- Work closely with employers, stakeholders and colleagues to ensure training remains relevant, learner-focused and aligned to industry needs
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance
Requirements:
- Experience in teaching, training, coaching, learning and development, employability, apprenticeships or workforce development
- International Freight Forwarding experience, specialising in road, sea and/or air freight
- Strong current knowledge of Customs processes and procedures
- GCSE or Equivalent in Maths and English grade C and above
- Confident use of IT software packages and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Self-motivated
- Target and result driven – working to SLA’S
- A positive and enthusiastic approach with a “can do” attitude
- Willingness and ability to travel and work flexibly to meet learner needs
