Job Description
Remote part-time tutor supporting Barry University’s Physician Assistant students. Delivering subject tutoring, tracking student time, and communicating progress to program directors.
Responsibilities:
- Tutor PA students who require tutoring services for the PA program
- Study course objectives for subjects being tutored
- Tutor students in identified subjects as directed by the course director
- Provide tutoring remotely or in person at the discretion of the student and tutor
- Conduct remote tutoring via videoconferencing with screen sharing
- Record time spent with each student
- Communicate with course directors and Assistant Program Director regarding student progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience with handling video conferencing equipment
- Ability to tutor PA students remotely using videoconferencing with screen-sharing capability
- Ability to study course objectives for assigned tutoring subjects
- Ability to communicate with course directors and Assistant Program Director about student progress
